The conference will be targeted to practitioners, teachers, museum educators and researchers of education sciences.

The conference aims to increase understanding of the role of ICT (Information and communication technology) in teaching, arts pedagogy and teacher education. All fields of arts education (e.g. music, dance, drama, visual arts, film, handicraft, architecture) will be called for, as well as teachers and academic researchers at kindergartens, schools and professional / vocational institutes and universities.

About Neothemi:
NEOTHEMI (The new Network Of Thematic Museums and Institutes) is a 3-year Comenius-supported European project aiming at the creation of a strong collaborative network for cultural heritage developed in the framework of a virtual educational museum.
This conference is the last of three NEOTHEMI conferences (Budapest 2002, Helsinki 2003, Campobasso 2004).

Conference venue:
University of Campobasso

Workshops and parallel paper sessions will be arranged to allow active participation and discussion. A peer-reviewed conference committee welcomes papers that treat the theory and practice of virtual museum pedagogy in the field of European cultural heritage, and collaborative project design, analysis and descriptions of ongoing or previous ICT projects.
