.NET developer Job description ABSI is looking for a talented and experienced .NET developer in order to strengthen its development team which specializes in enterprise application development integrating the latest technologies. You preferably have experience with full life cycle of a development project including design, programming, testing, implementation, maintenance and documentation. You have experience with Object Oriented Programming and ASP.NET, We prefer C #, experience on VB.NET. This job requires the ability to work independently. You will take ownership of problems and processes. Moreover, you can handle pressure and simultaneously deal with multiple tasks. You have good oral and written communication skills (English and another European language). You are a team player and you can efficiently collaborate with others. You will also be able to give your feedback on projects and bring new ideas. Profile - You are a developer and have .a bachelor or Masters degree in IT or you have an equivalent experience.
- You will make decisions regarding design and development and you will be able to defend and explain those to your fellow developers, the project manager or to the customer. You have an eye for performance, scalability and future compatibility
- You write high quality code that is ready for production environments.
- You are able to assist the project manager for technical issues.
- You are willing to learn ready to make a new step in your career.
Required knowledge: - Technology: Microsoft .NET 3.5 or higher, ASP.NET
- Development languages: C#, VB.NET, T-SQL, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSLT , Object- orientated Programming (OOP), LINQ.
- Ability to correctly and clearly documenting code
- Ability to deliver structured code according to the coding conventions and rules as specified in the architecture of the project or as specified by yourself in new projects.
- Database: SQL Server 2005/2008
- Integrated Development Environment: Visual Studio Team System 2005 & 2008
- Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003, 2008, Active Directory, Internet Information Service (IIS)
- Office Tools: Visual Studio Tool for Office (VSTO)
