ALL FOR APPLICATIONS TO THE INTERNATIONAL WEEK 2023 SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ALICANTE (SPAIN), MARCH 28th -31st

We are happy to announce that the 6th edition of our International Week will take place next March 2023. We very much hope this new edition will be a fantastic opportunity to meet you here in our lovely campus in Alicante.
In previous editions we have hosted colleagues from different countries to lecture our students and stimulate in them the benefits of studying abroad. In line with these objectives, we are actually excited to organise an awesome week full of interesting lectures, exchange of good teaching practices and meetings with colleagues from all over the world. You will also have the opportunity to introduce your home university and country culture to students in attendance. Throughout the week a social programme will be organized to give you the opportunity to tour through the heart of the city of Alicante as well as your presence is expected at our farewell dinner. Our purpose is to make an unforgettable IW edition for all of you.

Please, take into account that spots are limited for the event!!!
Applicants are asked to participate in the scheduled activities and prepare lectures in at least one of these topics: Economics; Business and Management; Marketing; Sociology; Advertising and Public Relations; Social Work, Tourism or Computer Sciences related to business and management. We strongly recommend to focus your proposal on topics related to current issues that may be attractive as your audience will be undergraduate students from 2nd to 4th year.
Activities during the IW could be the following (currently working on a preliminary programme and depending on the number of participants):
  • Lectures (e.g. 2 or 2.5 hours of lectures which could be repeated in various fields and to several student target groups.)
  • Workshops (e.g. 2 hours of presentations or keynotes in your expertise area and of individual/group work guidance, etc.)
  • Attendance to other lectures as observer to know different teaching methodologies and/or contents
  • Conferences (1-2 hour presentation and discussion of a special topic for lecturers.)
  • University and Culture Info (being present and providing information for about 1-2 hours on a scheduled day during the week.)
Please, be aware that participants must cover their own travel and accommodation expenses as no funds will be provided to any participant. If you are coming from an Erasmus+ partner institution, you can receive funding via “Teaching Staff Mobility” (check the availability of teaching staff places for this academic course according to the exchange agreement with your university).
