Next Monday 8th of October University of Molise organizes the Erasmus welcome Day for the academic year 2018-2019. The event will start at 9 a.m. taking place in Campobasso, via F. De Sanctis, at University of Molise, Aula SAVA – III Edificio Polifunzionale (former faculty of Agriculture), 1st floor. As usual, the Welcome Day is designed to introduce the incoming Erasmus students to the academic life at Unimol, providing them useful information about general rules and regulations for students, how to sign up for exams, how to benefit from the services of the International Relations Office, etc. The Erasmus Departmental Coordinators will take part to the event, giving short overviews about the didactic and research activities carried on by Unimol 6 departments: Agricultural, Environmental and Food Sciences; Economics; Humanities, Education and Social Sciences; Biosciences and Territory; Law; Medicine and Health Sciences. In addition, the Welcome Day will benefit from the participation of the staff members of the Erasmus Student Network – Section of Molise (ESN Unimol), which will present their wide range of activities for the present academic year, including the “buddy” program, the housing support service and also cultural and entertainment events – click on the flyer to the left for the detailed timetable!
For the academic year 2018-2019, Unimol will guest more than 40 European students which have planned to enhance their curricula through a learnig mobility funded by the European Union and in particular by the Erasmus+ Program. Spanish and Portuguese universities lead the rank of the foreign universities most represented at Unimol, but also Albania, Austria, France, Romania and Belgium are present as home countries of the new incoming students. The Erasmus welcome Day will be an opportunity to make new friends, to get in touch with other cultures and obviously to collect information about Unimol partner universities in the Erasmus+ program, which are all elegible hosting universities for those who are just going to leave for an Erasmus mobility, or are simply curious, or willig to apply for the next calls of the Erasmus+ program. For this reason, the participation of Italian students to the event is welcome and strongly reccomended!!
